Spring Opera Scenes (2024)
VIDEO DESIGNER
My first Lead Creative show role at Guildhall School, working directly with Director Oliver Platt and Set Designer Alisa Kalyanova to create video content for Spring Opera Scenes in Milton Court Theatre.
From rehearsals with the actors at Toynbee Studios to working in liaison with my Video Engineer/ Programmer Eli Hunt and the Lighting Design team led by Ed Frearson through tech and Stage and Piano sessions was hugely satisfying.
Software included a mixture of Houdini to build 3D scene assets and create water, fog and cloud simulations. Adobe Photoshop to paint 14 minute rolling skies. Adobe Premiere Pro to edit film footage. Adobe After Effects to manipulate Houdini assets. Disguise D3 to composite scenes.
