Moving Screens Project (2023)
CREATIVE PRODUCER
For the theme ‘Found in Translation’ I created a 6min30sec film ‘Run’; based on learning to run a marathon for the first time. I created a complex animation in Adobe After Effects using self-filmed footage and commissioned a bespoke sound design by a GSMD music student. The 13 moving screens were positioned in timings I set with the Automaton team and the work delivered formatted to show via D3.
This was a challenging but exhilarating project to work on. The strict timings and positions of the screens throughout the performance were boundaries to the design but a satisfying challenge to edit footage and effects to on 14 simultaneous composition timelines.
