Life Songs (2023)
VIDEO DESIGNER
Working as liaison between the Classical music department and VDLP, I developed the mood boards, story board and direction of the video design for this devised theatre piece in Milton Court Theatre. A documentary-style piece with a mixture of archive research, bespoke filming, drawing, and photography for assets. I used Adobe After Effects to edit and D3 to deliver.
This project involved speaking with the singers, researching their backgrounds and coming up with suitable palettes and styles to fit each chapter of the show with intro and outro sequences and backdrops for the whole production with singers and musicians performing live. This was the first time I had the pleasure of being in a small space of opera singers rehearsing. It was so lovely.
